The eero 6 is available for pre-order now and will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2018. The eero 6 is based on the same mesh networking technology as the eero 5 and eero 5 Pro. It has a built-in Wi-Fi antenna, which is what allows for the Wi-Fi signal to be directed to each of the eero 6’s six nodes. These nodes are then able to communicate with each other to form a mesh network, with each node being able to communicate with the other nodes using 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
